New Website Highlights Our Value-Added Differences
One of the first rules of great blog writing is to focus on issues that are relevant to the market you serve, not on something that’s just about you in particular.
But hey, if we never thought out of the box, we wouldn’t be honest-to-goodness innovators would we? And truth be told, we’ve done our very best to be unlike any other company in the language industry since we first opened our doors in 1982.
Say hello to ISI Language Solutions.
In case you haven’t noticed it yet, after more than 35 years in business, we’ve officially changed our name from ISI Translation Services to ISI Language Solutions. On top of that, we’re also launching a new website—today, in fact—to start building awareness of our new brand name and to better differentiate ISI from our competition.
So, what’s different about ISI Language Solutions?
Forget all the standard jargon about how great our service is and how we always go the extra mile for our clients, although we wouldn’t still be in business after all these years if great service wasn’t part of the equation.
Unlike most LSPs, ISI was one of the first to realize an unmet need for translation and interpretation services in the United States, instead of focusing on organizations whose overriding goal was to take their messages into new markets abroad.
We primarily serve U.S. institutions who care for the 20% of U.S. residents who have limited or no English-language proficiency. No matter what language you speak, everyone needs access to healthcare, legal services, financial counseling, and other critical services that most of us in the United States take for granted.
U.S. Focus, Global Reach
Yet, none of this means we’re limited to the U.S. market alone. In fact, as the web continues to become the central information engine for every organization in the world, our web and rich-media localization practice is growing in leaps and bounds—especially since we’re based in Los Angeles and have access to some of the most advanced media technology in our own backyard.
So, if you get a chance, please take a minute to check out our new website at www.isilanguagesolutions.com. And if you have any comments, questions or suggestions for future blog topics, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
All great translation, localization and interpretation work begins with listening to what our clients have to say. But for now, thanks for letting me give a personal shout-out to the ISI team myself.
