Today, BIG Language Solutions, the fastest growing language solutions provider globally, and who also has a Net Promoter Score over 90, announced the promotion of Scott Swanson to the position of Senior Vice President of Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Interpretation at BIG Language Solutions.

Scott joined BIG in January of 2020 as a Director of Business Development in our healthcare division. Before joining BIG Language Solutions, Scott held various sales, leadership, and product development roles in the translation and interpretation industries. He earned two patents for an AI-based language interpretation system and a multi-modal language interpretation system. Scott was also the Vice-Chair of the Defense Language Institute, Foundation and was a director for the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters. Before entering the language industry, Scott served in the United States Army as a Lt. Colonel, where he flew helicopters and earned the Bronze Star and Air Medal for combat flight missions.

Scott earned his B.A. from Wheaton College and also graduated from the U.S. Army Rotary Wing Flight School.
